Where is your Dream vacation? For us this January, it was the Disney Dream! In January, 2014, many of our agents were able to experience this amazing ship. Walking onboard for the first time was awe-inspiring. From the chandelier made with over 88,000 Swarovski crystals to the grand sweeping staircase, to the intricate marble work, the Atrium itself is stunning.
This ship is 50% larger than her predecessors. She holds up to 4000 guests. But other than being bigger, the Disney Dream has so much more to offer. Goofy's Sports Deck offered Goofy miniature golf, basketball courts and even a sports simulator. Disney's Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab offer the kids games and activities to enhance their onboard experience. It's a Small World Nursery is there for children 3 months to 3 years. The Edge is a private space exclusively for tweens in the forward funnel of the ship! And what teen wouldn't enjoy Vibe, an exclusive space for them all the way at the front on the ship with an indoor lounge and outdoor space as well just for them.
Adults will not be disappointed either. There is a variety of different nightclubs and lounges for anyone's taste. Palo and Remy offer adult only dining experiences. Adults can relax in a pool area reserved just for them.
The obvious addition to the Disney Dream rests on top of the ship – the AquaDuck! This 765-foot-long water coaster is the only water coaster at sea! Guests can ride up, down and around the ship, including a trip through the forward funnel!
Disney Dream continues the rotational dining that we love on the classic ships with new options – the Enchanted Garden, the Royal Palace and Animator's Palate, featuring Disney animation with your favorite Finding Nemo characters. There is a new casual dining option in Cabanas and other quick service options at Flo's Diner.
The staterooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable for one to five guests, with more options for connecting rooms than on the classic ships. The Disney Dream still offers the split bath design in all but the standard inside category. Updates make these staterooms more environmentally friendly.
